HARPG's biggest annual dressage show had arrived. The eyes of all stables across the world were set on the county of Hull in England as stars from all over the world made their way hundreds of miles over land and sea to show off their best horses.

"You nervous?" Josie held Ted quietly as Colin paced in wait for their turn.

He cleared his throat, watching the first competitor in the class leave the arena. "Mmm, there's more competition here than anywhere I've ever competed..." he paused as Joey and Ilu of Fallen Angel Stables made their way to perform. "Especially that mare. She's what, considered one of the best in the world?"

"Ted's won his fair share of shows too, he might just surprise you here."

"He's a good horse, not saying he won't do well," Colin chuckled. He mounted the stallion and settled himself into the saddle, gathering the reins. He circled Ted to walk down the path, just as they were joined by Seb. They all eased their way towards the arena, the tension increasing as they neared it.
Summer had welcomed the competitors that day with the arrival of the sun, undisturbed by any clouds that lingered, and wildlife alive as anything.

The distorted sound of clapping from the stands signalled Colin and Ted's turn. Josie took hold of the reins once again to stop Ted getting excited, "good luck," both she and Seb nodded, and let go of the reins. Colin pressed his horse into a collected trot as they emerged onto the grass and into the silence of the competition.
